Information About Recreation Soccer

New for the Fall 2022 Season: We will be holding evaluations for our 1st -2nd grade division, 3rd -4th grade
division and our 5th -8th grade division. Our hope is to be able to build fair, even, and competitive
teams across all divisions! There will be no evaluations for our Lil Kickers, Kindergarten or
High School divisions.

Evaluations will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at our Peters brook Fields. Times for each
age group will be sent out as we get closer to the date and we have a clearer idea of the number
of kids in each group. Coaches will not need to participate in the evaluation process.  The evaluation process will be conducted by the HYAA Soccer Board.  In the days after evaluations; tentatively Wednesday August 24th; coaches will hold a draft to select their teams.
Our intention is for all parents/players to hear from their coaches by the week of August 29th !

We are planning to start the season with a week of practices starting September 5th.
Our first weekend of games will be held on Saturday, September 10th .
As a reminder, each child will receive a team t-shirt, shorts and socks that they will be able to keep at the end of the season.

We are a 100% volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to player development: promoting youth soccer and encouraging a love of the game. We strive to teach the skills necessary to play the game well while instilling a sense of fair play, teamwork and sportsmanship in our players.

Serving Hooksett and surrounding communities we offer a full spectrum of soccer activities and group play ranging from grades K up to U14 (Ages 5-13). Our program consists of early skills development & small-sided game play (i.e. 3v3 / 4v4) for younger kids along with a complete youth recreational soccer program. The Hooksett Recreation Soccer program is for players in pre-school through high school.
